Education is the backbone of a nation. No nation can prosper without education. It brings man into light from the dark. The people of the rich countries of the world are educated in a great number. For this reason every country of the world is trying to increase their rate of literacy. Education drives away the darkness, ignorance and foolishness of human mind. It creates soul pure. It helps man to know thyself. However, this system of education is of different types. Such as education belonging to science, education belonging to literature and education belonging to commerce or business. The education which is related to commerce and business is called business education. To earn this education one may learn how to deal with commerce and business or trade. Society is in need of new pattern of education for developing trade and commerce throughout the world.
Commercial or business education is consequently the product of commercial and industrial expansion. Its main acquaint one with theoretical and practical aspects of all matters relating to commerce. It enables a practical businessman to visualize through its proper prospectives. No man can flourish business without proper study of business education. The educational institutes of Bangladesh from the secondary stage to the higher stage provides a vast step of
business education. There are commerce faculties in every institutions. However in the universities there is a Commerce Department. The subjects called Marketing Management, Accountancy, IBA, BBA and MBA belonging
to this department. In the conclusion we can say that with the increasing complexities of the modern business, the study of business education has become absolutely essential for all business men.
